For over a decade I have had the honor and pleasure of writing for a woman I have never met. Lisa Shea owns Bellaonline.com and for years has provided a platform for the many editors, such as myself, to have almost complete control of our websites and their topics. I am so grateful for her and all that she has provided me with over the years. That's what makes this article so hard to write.

When my friend Stephanie, who was an editor here at Bellaonline.com first approached me about writing a Gospel and Christian website for this company, I thought sure this will be easy. After-all I am a writer with a degree in journalism, I love Gospel and Christian music and I can do this on my own time. The pages were created by Lisa and the journey began.

Little did I know that what started as a fun filled hobby and writing experience would turn into years of traveling, meeting so many great artists, conducting hundreds of interviews and connecting with so many wonderful people that would impact my life for years to come.

Things changed eight years ago when my passion for writing begin to fade after the death of my only son Clinton. I can honestly say I haven't been the same since and this site has suffered somewhat because of it. I just don't crave writing as much as I use to and now seek more meaning in my life. I know that those of you who are my loyal readers have noticed the lack of regular articles on this website. I want to apologize for that and please know that I can only say that with a new editor for this page that should change.

I am not leaving writing completely I write for Examiner.com and you can find me there. I also plan to create a blog Conversations with Candace really soon. I wish to have more time to focus on the foundation I started in Clinton's memory Youth 4 Healthy Hearts. I also work a great job selling software that I really enjoy.

I wish you, my readers all the best that life has to offer and want you to know that I thank you for all of your support over these years. The love that so many of you have shown me over the years I will never forget and this experience of writing for Bellaonline.com has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.
